When Corbin is ordered to explain he begins telling his story, a story of love, adventure and tragedy, a story that in the telling of it heals something deep within him. Corbin recounts the events surrounding World War II and how he pulled out of Pearl Harbor a few days before it was bombed. He tells how his sub sank off of the Marshall Islands and plummeted to into an underwater Cavern leading them to an ancient underwater world called MerWorld.
What a great book...I would fully recommend this book to anyone who is on one of those boring 9 hour flights, it should appeal to military, working professional or folks who just want to get engrossed in a good book...It's a captivating love story, where deceit, rape and lies, whether above or below the oceans are hard at work...The Author has shown great skill in blending fiction with fact, the past and the present...This mystical love tale of Corbin and Serena makes one feel as if they are present observing this love story unfold below the seas...It also makes you think about the responsibility of stewardship we as people should have of this earth...The Author, Elizabeth has done an excellent job with the Illustrations and Poems she has written throughout this book...In a word, "Brilliant"

This is the Jonathan Livingston Seagull of shells. A Spiritual journey of four shells who lay on a beautiful beach waiting to be crunched to death. The story is about the joy of living and the peace of accepting death as a natural transition into the Oneness of all things.
Elizabeth Monroy was inspired to write The Little Shell in Captiva, Florida the largest shelling beach in the world where she and her husband, Peter lived and vacations for many wonderful years. She wrote The Little Shell in the same cottage that Anne Morrow Lindbergh wrote Gifts from the Sea and walked the beach every day mediating on the pages.
After she had finished the book she was approached by a woman from the Hospice who suggested that she write a children's book to help children deal with death and grief from a more spiritual perspecitive then she realized she already had.

Born in the United States to parents who are an ecletic collection of cultures and tradtions. She was raised with an emphasis on art and music and began to comprehend the importance of growing into her own creativity whilst thoroughly appreciating that of others. A student of classical music and piano she began to realise her passion for art many years later. She currently studies Art in Florence, Italy am now a student at Marist Lorenzo de’Medici in Florence, Italy.

This powerful book was written by Elizabeth Monroy and her husband, a physcian Peter Monroy as they traveled around the World setting up healing centers and working to evolve the healing arts to address the whole human physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The foundation communicated is an excellent tool for any form of haling and spiritual growth and is based on their own personal expereinces and the teachings they recieved from their spiritual teachers.
Author's Biography:
Elizabeth Monroy has combined her many talents to offer rich and empowering workshops. An accomplished author and English teacher Elizabeth expanded her knowledge to include a degree in mental health counseling, yoga instruction and knowledge aquired from her spiritual teachers as she traveled around the world with her husband, a physician, laying a foundation for a deeper level of human evolution based on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual evolvement. Together they wrote The Pathway Home, which outlines the spiritual foundation given to them by their spiritual teachers .In addition to The Pathway Home, Elizabeth is the author of The Magical Mist a children's book aimed at empowering the creative imagination of children, The Littel Shell, The Chronicles Of MerWorld and a multitude of Screenplays which she has written and porduced.
Elizabeth moved to Florence Italy in 2005 and created The Florence International Film School and Infinite Human Productions which produces and publishes independent multi media. She has been working with students from all over the world helping them uncover their creativity and write original scripts, storyboarding and preparing a shooting script. Her student’s films have been accepted and shown at international film festivals around the world including The Cannes Film Short Corner, Durango Film Festival and The Florence International Film Festival.
Elizabeth Monroy is the acting director of the Florence International Film School Study Abroad Program which is part of the Infinite Human Productions, and Florence International Film School and Film Festival an organization incorporated in the U.S. which offers programs abroad that seek to inspire, educate and promote emerging visionary artists as well as one week workshops.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts, English and History and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. She has studied screenplay writing and film making at the University of California in Los Angeles and Cinema and Art at the University of Florence.
Elizabeth has studied with Master Spiritual Teachers for the past twenty years and has received many high spiritual initiations. She has also studied Yoga and Psychotherapy at the Himalayan Institute. In her travels around the world she has had the opportunity to work with the indigenous populations of our planet and received much of her artistic inspiration from these cultures. She went on to become an accomplished artist and author. Her artwork has been exhibited throughout the United States, Central America, Micronesia, and Europe. Elizabeth is promoting her latest novel: The Chronicles of MerWorld and The Little Shell.
